Balancing the Federal Budget — When I first started teaching economics in 2010, the U.S. national debt was around $13.5 TRILLION. Since then, it has nearly doubled to $20.6 TRILLION in only eight years. Why is the federal budget an important topic for young people to learn about? What is the impact of deficit spending on their financial lives? How do we balance the federal budget? In this webinar, participants will explore these questions, and learn about the related CEE resources.
