This Virtual Workshop is the first in a series of 4 by Invest in Girls titled Learning About The News where we focus some recent financial events that have been in the headlines. This workshop is designed to give high school students an introduction of the basic financial concepts involved with the Stock Market and the factors that impact it. It features a short activity, a presentation by a female finance expert and a Q&A at the end with participants who were in attendance. The activity and presentation are focused on how different factors affect individual companies and overall market performance.
