Description

This session focuses on the financial dilemmas that contributed to the situation of homelessness that is the theme in several new children’s books. Students learn how to allocate limited resources, problem solve dire situations, and contribute to the wellbeing of others. Attendees receive access to classroom ready lesson plans and an annotated bibliography. Featured chapter books include “Stay” by Bobbie Pyron and “Crenshaw” by Kathrine Applegate.
